I have a wide variety of activities and interests, most of which do not involve watching sport.
I currently am Head of Marketing and Communications at Sported, a charity that helps young people and supports grassroots organisations in our communities by backing the invaluable life opportunities available through sport and physical activity.
While I also volunteer with Speakers for Schools, an educational advocacy charity, to deliver motivational talks to pupils. Contact them if you would like me to come pay a visit.
Professionally, I am a past chair of the British Athletics Writers Association and Basketball Journalists Association and served on the Commission of the International Sports Media Association (AIPS) as well as acting as Chapter Head for the Professional Basketball Writers Association.
I am a graduate of the University of Dundee and Edinburgh Napier University and – having studied and worked abroad – I am fluent in Spanish and French.
